This is a stack of a hundred images that were taken on the night of August 12th, whilst out watching for Perseid meteorites. One did wander into the frame, but I saw dozens with my own eyes - it was a lovely display.

Taken from several miles away in Corrie on the east side of the Isle of Arran, this zoomed in and hazy shot of the Holy Isle only really worked in black and white.  But it gives the image the mysterious feel it deserves .......
